Preventive Health Services

Access to high-quality preventive health care is essential to a thriving and healthy music community. MusiCares offers biannual clinics and partners with trusted nationwide practices that offer vision, dental and physical therapy treatment. We also partner with leading telehealth providers for women and family health, hearing health, nutritional health and smoking cessation – accessible on and off the road.

When music professionals experience unexpected medical or dental expenses, financial strain can quickly become overwhelming. MusiCares provides financial assistance to help cover medical and dental bills and offers support when health challenges disrupt both personal well-being and professional stability.

Music industry professionals are a uniquely vulnerable population, and hearing loss can impact quality of life, communication, ability to work, and ultimately, employability. MusiCares partners with Tuned, a virtual audiological platform to provide annual hearing health services and consultation. Additionally, throughout the year at select festivals and industry events, MusiCares offers onsite hearing protection for performers, production and crew.
